Visi
Which verses do we quote most often, and why? Which verses, books and chapters, on the other hand, do we hardly quote, or not at all? My vision is to answer exactly these questions.
On the one hand, to see how the Bible is used and how this depends on denomination, country, age and other factors.
On the other hand: which topics does the Bible speak about, and on which topics do we let the Bible speak? How often does it speak about blessing and curse, grace and sin, peace, wrath, mercy, punishment, …? And how often do we quote the Bible on these topics?
What are our blind spots that we overlook or deliberately leave out, and why?
The goal is to create new awareness of the passages we leave out or overlook, and enthusiasm for the whole Bible. With God’s help and for his glory!
Who is behind LogoStats?
I am Joel Rabi Frank, a theology student, an avid Bible reader and a statistician. With this project I have combined my two greatest passions, and I hope that many others will benefit from it and that our preaching of the Bible will become more deliberate and more complete.
